Sher Bagh the Camp was incorporated in July 2000 as a private limited company to promote eco friendly tourism. Sher Bagh is situated on the periphery of the
Ranthambhore National Park in
Rajasthan.
The Sher Bagh Camp consists of 12 luxurious bedroom tents with attached verandahs and bathrooms, a dining tent, a cafe and lots of verdant spaces.
The tents are custom made, raised on a concrete plinth. The attached bathrooms are permanent with running hot and cold water. There is 24-hour electricity at the Sher Bagh Camp. The bedrooms have everything from heaters to hot water bottles.
Other amenities include lounge verandah and reading room, ayurvedic massage, PUGMARK - The Sher Bagh Boutique, telephone and fax, resident doctor, helipad, special evening and talks with conservationists who have dedicated their lives to Ranthambhore and its animals.
The nearest railway station and bus station are 15 km away at Ranthambhore.
