Shelter Don Bosco, a non governmental organization based in
Mumbai,
Maharashtra, started its activities in 1987. It aims to protect and promote the rights of children. In pursuit of this aim, an open house for the roofless and rootless street children was started. The organization gives emphasis to holistic personality development programs and is also active in all areas of education.
Job oriented training such as tailoring, shoemaking, binding and printing, is provided at this shelter home.
