Shell Museum is situated in
Diu District,
Daman and Diu. The museum houses the personal collection of Captain Fulbari, a sailor who spent most of his days on the ocean for collecting seashells.
The museum has reading materials based on the history of shells as a form of currency in parts of Africa and in other parts of the world. Besides, magnifying glasses are provided to look closely at some of the shells, which include cockle, spider, scorpion and abalone types.
