Positioned at a height of about 5,213 ft above sea level, Shekhpur is a small village in Srinagar District. It is at a distance of 12 km from the district headquarters – Srinagar. Shekhpur is bounded by Warpura in the west, Ompura in the north, Humhom in the east and Thokarpura in the south.
Shekhpur can be approached from Khanapur, Narachpur and Mohandpura by local transport.
