Shedbal is a charming town located on State Highway 12 and is 39 km west of Athani. It is around 40 km north-east of Chikodi and is about 15 km west of Ainapur, the nearest town.
Shedbal is a famous Jain pilgrim site in Karnataka. The Jain temples at Chikodi and the historic site of Hukkeri are other places worth visiting around.
