Shashti Maholsavam is a famous festival celebrated at
Irinjalakuda in
Thrissur District of
Kerala. Organized by the SNBS Samajam, this festival displays the unity of people of Irinjalakuda.
Sree Narayana Yuvajana Samathi conducts a drama rivalry called 'All Kerala Drama Competition' during this six days festival. Besides, pookkaavadikal, gopurakkavadikal, decorated elephants, tableau and chariots in the competitive celebrations are very attractive. The programs are arranged mainly in the four areas including West Town, Combara, Pullur and Thuravankadu.
