Sharda Teerth

Sharda Teerth is a pilgrim spot located in Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir. This teerth is dedicated to one of the great seers Kashyap, who is believed to be the creator of Kashmir. Due to age, the Sharda Teerth is now in ruins.

Sharda Teerth can be approached through Haihom Drung Pass, which is 10 km north of Kupwara, on the Lashdut Mountain. Putukhan Pass is a major route for the saints who visit the Sharda Teerth.
