Hassan, at Shantigrama, Shantigrama Jain Temple was built during the Hoysala period in the 12th century. The temple is dedicated to Bhagvan Shantinatha, whose black idol is enshrined here. The statue 4 ft tall, is seen in the padmasana posture. In addition to Bhagvan Shantinatha, an idol of Goddess Padmavathi is seen inside the temple sanctum.
