Shanmukhanathan Temple is located at Kunnakudi near
Madurai. The temple is situated on a hill and can be reached through a flight of steps. The presiding deity of the temple is the six faced Shanmugar mounted on his peacock and flanked by Valli and Deivayanai. There is an ornamental mandapam to the south of the sanctum.
