Shallom House started its activities in 1998 at
Panaji in
Goa. It provides assistance to the needy, orphaned and destitute children who are left on the streets of Goa. They offer first class education, medication and Christian Bible teaching for about 42 children, both boys and girls, in the age group of five to seventeen. Encouragement is given to improve their identity within the family and their spiritual, physical and social development to lead a self reliant and independent life.
