Sunam in
Punjab. Shaheed Udham Singh was hanged in June 1940 for the murder of Michael O'Dyer, the British Lieutenant-Governor who ordered to shoot at the thousands of people gathered in connection with the freedom struggle at Jallianwala Bagh in 1919.
