Situated amid the Satpura Hills, Shahanoor Dam is a picturesque dam site constructed across the Shahanoor River. This 7 km long earthen dam irrigates the areas of Achalpur and Anjangaon.
The dam site is 10 km north-west of Achalpur and 85 km from Amaravati.
