Senchal Lake is located 10 km south-east of
Darjeeling, at an altitude of 8,160 ft. The enchanting surroundings have made it a favorite haunt for group picnickers.
A golf course is located nearby. Drinking water to the town of Darjeeling is supplied from this lake.
