Seematti is one of the oldest establishments dealing in finest silk, cotton and other new synthetic dress materials. Started in 1910, it has showrooms at
Kottayam,
Ernakulam,
Changanacherry and
Thiruvalla. Most of the collections are from famous Indian companies including Mafatlal and Gwalior. Seematti has its own brand - Monsuier - for shirts, trousers and wedding suits for men.
Saree Sansar at Ernakulam, spread over 100,000 sq ft, caters to every fashion fad in every stratum of society. Temple of Silk, the showroom at Kottayam, has a wide collection of pure silk sarees for all occasions, especially wedding sarees and pure silk dress materials, synthetic, casual and cotton sarees.
