Seema




Seema is a scenic village situated 2 km from Osla and 14 km from Har-Ki-Doon in Uttarkashi District. It lies at an altitude of about 2,500 m on the Ruinsara Tal trek route. Tons, Supin and Rupin rivers flow close by. A small temple is located here. It nestles among the forests of rhododendrons and lush meadows spotted with bright flowers. Small springs and deep valleys can be seen all around. It offers panoramic views of the Kalanka Peak and Swargarohini Peak. Nearby places to visit are Taluka, Sankri, Datmir and Govind Wildlife Sanctuary. It is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering. Accommodation is available at the forest guest house.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport and the nearest railway station is at Dehradun.
