Sayaji Sarovar, also known as Ajwa Lake, is located about 22 km from
Vadodara in
Gujarat. Formed by damming the Surya River and Vaghali Nala, Sayaji is the principal source of water in the city. The prime attraction here is a garden coupled with illuminated fountains, patterned after the famous Vrindavan Garden in
Mysore.
