Sasaune is a coastal village, located about 15 km north of Alibag, in Raigad District. Mumbai, the state capital, is 130 km to the north.
Kamarkar Museum coupled with a beautiful garden forms the prime attraction here. Vrindaban Gardens and Magnetic Observatory in Alibag are worth visiting. Mandwe Beach, Kolaba Fort, Chaul and the Hamam Khana are the other tourist spots around.
