Located in Tamaripakkam, Sarveshwara Dhyana Nilayam is a highly revered shrine dedicated to Lord Sarveshwara. Consecrated in 1989, this 65 ft tall temple and Satsang Hall is constructed in the form of a
shivling. Made of diamonds and granite, this shivling was consecrated with water from eight holy rivers. On every
Mahashivratri, abishekam of this Sphatika Lingam is done. Daily
puja is done on a small granite linga.
It is believed that Lord Sarveshwara takes the avatar of Dhanavantri, the seer of medicine, every Sunday - hence a free medical clinic is conducted every Sunday for the villagers of the neighborhood.
