Sarron Dance is a folk dance native to
Pauri Garhwal District,
Uttaranchal. This dance forms is a major event in the wedding procession, called barat, in which the groom heads towards the venue of marriage. The beautifully attired dancers, dancing in front of the procession, add to the glitter of the ceremony. The onlookers simply cherish the flexible hand and body movements of the dancers.
