Sarpataha

Sarpataha is a town in Jaunpur District, close to Sultanpur District border. An arterial road connecting Shahganj and Sultanpur passes through this town. It has Kadipur in its north, Shahganj in its east and Chanda in its west.

Jamdagni Ashram, a religious spot, closely associated with the life of Lord Parashuram, is a major attraction.

Shahganj Junction Railway Station, at a distance of 18 km, is the nearest railway access. Varanasi Airport is 100 km away.
