Started in 1982, Sargam Club is on Dr Yagnik Road in
Rajkot in
Gujarat. It is not only a social club, but also a missionary organization.
The club is facilitated with ladies' club, children's club, Sargam Seva Kendra (service center), Kala Mandir, library, hospital, health club and children's library. The ladies' club organizes various activities that range from cooking to computers and health care to child care. Competitions in dance, music and painting are organized. Kala Mandir is an art and cultural center where art forms are taught. Sargam Seva Kendra works for the benefit of the poor. Its activities include relief work, water-distribution and conducting camps.
The club celebrates Dandia Raas in a grand manner on Navratri every year. Classical music, dance competitions and cultural programs are arranged. As a health activity, the club conducts blood donation camps, free medical aids for the poor and AIDS awareness camps. Cricket, football, volley ball, caroms, table tennis, chess, motor cycling and bicycle race can be enjoyed. Note book distribution, scholarship for brilliant students and distribution of uniforms for poor students are part of educational activities.
