Saraks is a beautiful village situated in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is bounded by Mulbekh (11 km) in the west, Kanutse in the north, Khalsi in the east and Bodh Kabru (8 km) in the south-east.
By road, Saraks can be reached from Kargil and Leh. It can also be approached through a trek from Lamayuru and Sankoo. The nearest railhead is at Jammu (255 km).
