Santhome Cathedral




Santhome Cathedral is a historical pilgrimage center built between the 14th and the 15th century A D by the Portuguese. The cathedral, near Chennai beach, derived its name from St Thomas. A museum is located in the premises. Main attraction of the museum is a 16th century map of South Asia. Santhome Cathedral is one of the notable attractions in Chennai.
