Sankey Lake lies in the northern part of
Bangalore. This is a 500-year-old perennial water body.
Sankey attracts different species of migratory birds during winter. It is also the main source of ground water to the northern part of Bangalore. The beautiful botanical garden, forest nursery and the park are the added features.
Boating facility is available. This lake is maintained by the State Forest Department.
