Sankaranarayana Temple




Sankaranarayana Temple is a highly revered shrine situated about 25 km from Kodeshwara, in Udupi District of Karnataka. The temple, located on the banks of the Varahi River, is one of the seven muktistalas of Karnataka.

Two magnificent Shivling are enshrined in the sanctum of the temple. There are also shrines dedicated to Lord Muruga, Panchamukha Anjaneya (Hanuman) and Venugopala (Krishna).

Koti Teertham, Agni Teertham and Bhargava Teertham are the sacred teertham of the temple.
