Sangli Fort is situated in the centre of Sangli city, in
Sangli District,
Maharashtra. The fort houses Collector's Office, Revenue Office, Purohit Girls High School – a
Marathi School and a museum.
Rajwada Palace is located inside the fort and the museum is behind the palace. The present court of Sangli district is opposite to the fort.
The fort is now in a dilapidated state due to age and neglect.
The nearest airport is at Mumbai.
