Sander Shiva Temple is one among the temples that was built around the 11th century in Solanki style. It is situated at Sander in
Mehsana District of
Gujarat.
The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, consists of a sanctum, hall, a porch and a complex shikhara. The moldings of its footstall show customary courses and a bell-roof over the hall and porch. The hall has an octagonal interior with circular ceilings decorated with 12 brackets.
The major town close to the temple is Mehsana, the district headquarters. Regular buses are available from the Mehsana Bus Station.
