Sambre

Situated in Belgaum District of Karnataka, Sambre is around 12 km east of Belgaum. This town, also spelt as Sambra, houses the Belgaum Airport.

There is an Airmen Training School at Sambre. Ankalgi, Bagewadi and Marihal are among the surrounding places.

Sambre Railway Station is on the Belgaum-Miraj line. Nearest major railhead is Belgaum Railway Station. State Highway 20 has its route through Sambre.
