Salura is a scenic village located near Ganderbal in
Srinagar District. This village stands at a height of about 5,131 ft above sea level. It lies to the north-west of
Srinagar, about 15 km away. Salura is surrounded by Sindhbal in the west, Gangarhama in the north,
Bamlur in the east and
Katsan in the south.
Salura can be approached from Rampur and Dodarhama.
