Salta Mahadev is a prominent fair of
Pauri Garhwal District of
Uttaranchal. It is dedicated to
Lord Shiva. It marks the
Shivratri festival. This religious fair attracts a large number of devotees. An annual event, it is held during 13th and 14th of January. Apart from the religious rites performed for the deity, this fair also has its share of merriment.
