At a distance of 3 km from Roing, there is a beautiful lake, the Sally Lake in Lower Dibang Valley District of Arunachal Pradesh. The lake is surrounded by verdant forest. From the lake there stretches before one a fascinating view of the valley down below and the Dibang River, which is a tributary of the Brahmaputra. The clear water of the lake reveals the fish frolicking below. The Mehao Lake and Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary are nearby.
