Sakthikulangara is situated in
Kollam District of
Kerala. It rests on the National Highway 47 near
Neendakara and
Karunagappally. Sakthikulangara harbor, famous for fishing, is well known across the state and neighboring states. The main occupation of the natives is fishing. Cashew and wood industries also play a major role in the economy. St. John Britto Church is located here. There is also a boat building yard in this town.
