Founded in 2002 by the Catholic Diocese of
Irinjalakuda, the Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology is a part of the Diocesan Silver Jubilee Memorial Educational Complex. Its modern infrastructural facilities and the 40-acre campus surrounded by lush green fields provide an ideal learning environment.
Sahrdaya is affiliated to the University of Calicut and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The college offers undergraduate courses in electronics and communication engineering, biomedical engineering, computer science and engineering, and biotechnology engineering. The faculty members are all highly qualified and research-oriented. They assist in the all-round development of the students and the college.
Infrastructural facilities include a prayer hall, reading room, recreation centre, and guest house. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available in the campus.
