Sahodaran Ayyappan Memorial Training College, established in 1995, is an unaided co-educational institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. Affiliated to the
Mahatma Gandhi University, the college offers one year full time courses leading to Bachelor of Education Degree (BEd) in Malayalam, Hindi, mathematics, natural science, physics and social studies. The institution has state-of-the-art psychology, science, educational technology and work experience laboratories.
