Sahla lies on the banks of the Markanda River, in Ambala District of Haryana. It is located towards the eastern border of the district with Yamunanagar District and is 12 km north of Binjalpur.

The nearest airport is Chandigarh Airport. Ambala Cantonment Junction Railway Station and Sadhaura Bus Station (8 km) serve Sahla.
