Sage Patanjali Temple, situated at Bellur, Karnataka, is the world's first temple dedicated to Sage Patanjali, the Father of Yoga. It was constructed by B K S Iyengar, the world famous Yoga teacher. It is located on the Bangalore-Kolar road, 40 km from Bangalore. The temple was inaugurated on October 31st, 2004.
