Sage Atri Shrines are located in
Chitrakut,
Chitrakut District. These were built around the hermitage of
Sage Atri. Rock-cut carvings are located near to these shrines, which bear resemblance to those of Angkor Wat, a famous monument in Cambodia. River Mandakini flows near to it.
Nearest airport is at Lucknow. Nearest railhead is at Banda.
