Sadashiva Temple is located at
Surathkal, on Mulki-Mangalore Road, about 15 km from
Mangalore, in
Karnataka. Situated on the top of a rocky hill, the temple is dedicated to
Lord Shiva. The annual car festival celebrated here in the month of December is a major draw attended by thousands of devotees from far and near.
Surathkal Railway Station, managed by the Konkan Railways, is the nearest railhead.
