Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar was born in
Mumbai on April 24th, 1973. Sachin, the living legend of cricket, was a child prodigy who made his international debut at the age of 16 against Pakistan. He became the first batsman to score 10,000 runs in ODI cricket. Sachin is also a bowler. The Master Blaster, as he is known the world over, had been praised by Sir Don Bradman the legendary Australian cricketer. Sachin was also the captain of the Indian team for short period. Having had many records to his credit, such as maximum number of ODI centuries, he has won several prestigious awards.
