Sabathu, one of the oldest cantonment in India, in
Solan District of
Himachal Pradesh. Situated at an altitude of 1437 m, it was the quarters of the British soldiers during British Empire. There is a Gurkha fort built in the early times of the 19th century.
Sabathu is about 28 km from Kasauli and 22 km from Solan.
