Started in 2003, S M Kader Engineering College is a technical institution run by S M K Mogamadali Jinnah Trust. It is located at
Maduramangalam, near Sunguvarchatram. Branches of study include Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. The college has facilities such as canteen, hostels for boys and girls, and well equipped laboratories. It also provides a training and placement cell to assist students in placements.
