Established in 1996, S K Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research was the first self financed pharmacy college in North Gujarat Region. It is situated at
Kherva in the
Mehsana District of
Gujarat. The college is affiliated to the North Gujarat University for B.Pharm and Ph.D courses. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The college is also an institutional member of Indian Society for Technical Education. Diploma, degree and post-graduate courses in pharmacy are offered.
Situated on over 25 acre of land, the college is a part of the Ganpat Vidhyanagar Campus at Kherva. The college building has ultramodern amenities, specifically designed to suit the requirements of pharmacy education. It has 16 laboratories, tutorial rooms, auditorium, library and animal house. The college campus also houses hostel, staff quarters, central canteen, sports complex, guest house, open air theater and supermarket. A well-maintained library and reading room stocked with the latest reference books and textbooks on pharmacy is available.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and Mehsana Junction Railway Station are the nearest railhead and airport respectively.
