Managed by S J M Vidyapeetha, S J M Dental College was established
Chitradurga in 1986. It is a premier institution approved by the Dental Council of India. Affiliated to Kuvempu University, it offers under graduate course in dental science (BDS) and post graduate studies in oral medicine and operative dentistry.
There is a most modern dental hospital attached to the college. The college also has a museum and a well stocked library. Separate hostels are available for men and women.
