Ryali lies about 25 km from
Rajahmundry in
East Godavari District. It is situated between the Vashista and Gautami rivers, which are the tributaries of
Godavari River. Ryali means falling in '
Telugu'.
Ryali assumes prominence because of the Jaganmohini Kesavaswami Temple. The idol of the deity is carved on black stone and the temple is rich in sculptural beauty. Umakamandeleshwara Temple is another attraction here.
