Royal Mosque




Royal Mosque is a 17th century shrine situated at Awwal Mohalla, in Chatra, Jharkhand. It was built during the reign of Daud Khan, the Mughal Governor of Aurangzeb, after he had conquered Kothi and Kunda. The Tahkhana and Toshkhana in the Mosque have been closed down and the structure had been reconstructed in a modern style.

Chatra is about 120 km north-west of Ranchi.
