Royal Chapel of St Anthony is an imposing white structure located in
Panaji, the capital city of
Goa. It is dedicated to Portugal's National Saint St Anthony. The chapel attracts lots of devotees, during the feast of St Anthony, from far and near.
The chapel was built around the 17th century by the Portuguese. In 1961, the chapel was undergone a complete restoration with the help of the Portuguese Government.
The nearest railhead is Karmali Railway Station. Goa Airport is about 30 km from Panaji.
