Rounglevaisuo is a historical and sacred site situated at the confluence of the Tuivai and the
Barak rivers. The place is sacred to tribal groups such as the Hrangkhawls and
Darlongs of
Tripura, the
Biates of
Meghalaya, the Sakecheps of
Assam and the Komrem tribes of
Manipur. Close to this site, there is a river island called Thiledam which means 'death and life' in Hmar.
Rounglevaisuo is in Tipaimukh, which is 115 km from Aizawl.
