Revathy Pattathanam is a cultural and intellectual debate conducted at Zamorin's court to win the coveted position of Pattathana. It is held at the Thali Temple, just 2 km east of
Kozhikode,
Kerala. Organized during the
Malayalam month of
Thulam, this seven day debate starts on
Revathi day and come to an end on
Thiruvathirai day.
It is believed that this intellectual gathering started during the end of the 13th century.
