Retreat Bungalow is a Victorian style house, situated on the
Vagamon hills in
Idukki District. It is a sloped tin roofed, granite masoned building and has a tiny eastward facing portico at the front. Two spacious bedrooms, a living room and a dining room are offered with all facilities. A swimming pool is an added facility. Activities include visit to Vagamon,
Kurisumala, Murugan Temple and
Thangalppara. Golf, snooker and leisure activities are arranged at
Peermade Club.
Kuttikkanam is 27 km and
Peermade is 33 km from the bungalow.
Kottayam Railway Station provides easy access.
