Renuka Devi Temple

Renuka Devi Temple is situated on a hillock, amidst breathtakingly beautiful nature, at about 2 km from the village of Mahur, in Nanded District. The temple is dedicated to goddess Renuka, mother of Shree Parasuram. There are also temples dedicated to Lord Dattatreya and Shree Parasuram.

The temple is believed to have been constructed by a Yadava king of Devgiri about eight to nine hundred years ago. A big fair is held annually on the Dussehra day in honour of Renuka Devi. The carved caves in the hills around Mahur are also worth visiting.
